Problem With Water Quality In The Food Industry?
We Can Help!
Waste water treatment on a slaughterhouse
Designed and operated with three main stages of wastewater treatment:
1. Primary processing
It aims to remove the suspended material (organic and inorganic). Its goal is to remove bodies that float in the sewage and are a risk of clogging the pipes (eg pumps) and malfunctioning the treatment units that follow. Primary Sedimentation includes tanks (Primary Sedimentation – Balancing Tanks) and aims to remove suspended organic and inorganic solids to reduce the pollutant load intended for the next stages of treatment.
2. The secondary treatment which is the Biological Cleaning, in which the organic substances are removed with the help of ventilation (oxygenation).
3. Tertiary Processing. It aims to remove heavy metals and toxic or other ingredients. This stage is necessary when the presence of industrial waste in the wastewater is important and the goal is to reuse wastewater (eg in industry, for irrigation or recreation). This stage includes treatments such as sedimentation, refining, activated carbon adsorption and membrane processes, dosing pumps, etc.
